By linking up to BACnet with the MS/TP protocol, an integrated communication between field devices and control technology is for the first time available with a freely usable standard.

The benefits of BACnet are the worldwide standardization as a manufacturer-independent and open protocol, the self-documentation and thus the sturdiness and reliability during engineering and operation.

With the MS/TP medium RS485, Wilo offers a simple possibility to interface field devices with BACnet. Wilo supports the highest possible speed of 76800 Baud. Routers can be used for the transition to other media like BACnet/IP or BACnet Ethernet according to ISO8802-3.
