Where and how did you first hear/read/see of Wilo...
To tell the truth, that was quite a long time ago. As a young boy I received a Wilo pump sharpener as a present from my grandfather - perhaps that subconsciously influenced me in my choice of career... (laughs).

What do you think are the characteristics of the ideal Wilo employee?
The ideal Wilo employee has a "distinctive procedural way of thinking" and can keep the entire process in consideration, as well as all of those involved in it. He is also a target-oriented team player, who plans and works with costs in mind. Customer orientation also plays an important role, as the customer is king at Wilo.

Who would you like to swap roles with for a day?
That is easy: I would like to swap with a surf school owner on a Caribbean island for longer than a day, when I think of the sun, the sea and the waves... I am a professional sportsman and train regularly for marathons and triathlons, but surfing has always appealed to me. Having said that, building pumps in Hof is not bad, but the sun could shine a bit more often...
