So that we can meet customer wishes, all employees in the organisation must form a perfect team,
so that an ideal result can be achieved for customers and for Wilo. So, as in Formula 1, It is not enough to have the best driver, the best car, the best development department or the best pit crew. Only if everyone's work is perfectly coordinated and everyone gives their best before and during the race and sticks to the agreed rules can the team go home with the prize. It is my job to coordinate all the necessary work and to make sure that everyone can do the right thing at the right time.

To me, "Pumpen Intelligenz." means...
... not only that our products represent intelligent solutions for our customers, but also that the company is oriented towards objectives and processes and deals responsibly and sympathetically with its employees and organisation.

Who would you like to swap roles with for a day?
With the German Chancellor. I think a country is a similar organisation to a company. Both pursue certain goals, have only limited resources available, must deal with its citizens/employees responsibly but exactingly. And there are conditions that must be accepted by everyone. It is certainly an art, juggling the conflicting demands of customer wishes and company objectives. Decisions must be made that are not always met with enthusiasm. I think that there is too little concern for the citizens (customers). I would like to try and change this.
